Connecticut Alliance

The Boys & Girls Clubs of The Lower Naugatuck Valley is a member of The Connecticut Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs which was established in 2003 to promote the social welfare of the boys and girls that are served by the sixteen Connecticut Boys & Girls Clubs. The Connecticut Alliance:

• Provides a mechanism for joint discussion, communications and exchange of ideas, together with cooperative action among the Connecticut Clubs
• Develops and expands quality youth development throughout the state
• Promotes public awareness of youth development and the problems youth face throughout the state
• Promotes and strengthens Boys & Girls Clubs' relationships with public and private agencies throughout the state
• Raises funds solely from the state and its agencies and political subdivisions
• Distributes raised funds solely to members of the Connecticut Alliance
