May 5, 2022—Coleman Bros. is bringing its spring carnival back to Shelton on May 12, and proceeds from the event will help support the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley.
The carnival runs from Thursday, May 12, through Sunday, May 22. Classic carnival rides like the merry-go-round and the Ferris Wheel will be available as well as attractions like a slide, swings, the Sizzler, Tilt-a-Whirl, and Mardi-Gras themed funhouse. Food is available for purchase throughout the carnival, with such favorites as fried dough, pizza, and cotton candy. Games of chance will thrill youngsters with the chance to take home a prize.
Held at Veteran’s Park, 83 Canal Street East, in Shelton, the carnival opens at 6 pm Monday-Friday and at 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $2, and ride tickets cost $1.50 each or you can purchase 20 tickets for $25 or 50 tickets for $60. Wristbands cost $30 Monday-Friday and $35 on Saturday and Sunday—every day is wristband day.
