Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley Opening After School Program at Oxford Middle School

Shelton, CT, January 27, 2023 – The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley is partnering with Oxford Public Schools to provide a comprehensive after school program at Oxford Middle School. Run by the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley, the program will be held right at Oxford Middle School, with access to the gym, cafeteria, a dedicated classroom, and outdoor space.

Opening on March 1, membership will cost $200 per month per member and $120 per month for siblings; hours are from school dismissal – 6:00 pm. Membership includes Power Hour Homework Assistance, the Workforce Development program, Triple Play Health & Wellness, and the Torch Club Youth Leadership program. Boys & Girls Club Youth Development Professionals will run the program, including a Site Coordinator. Applications are currently being accepted for all positions.

The Boys & Girls Club has been running successful before and after school programs in Shelton schools for 14 years, in addition to its 65+ years of operation at its downtown Clubhouses in Shelton and Ansonia.
